Excellent evening for two gemini friends celebrating our birthdays. Risotto absolutely delicious - I asked for my Risotto to be spicy and some chorizo to be added - no problem. Very pleasant service staff and prompt with drinks. Most enjoyable evening.

Gluten free battered fish and chips! Like a miracle. So pleased to find something other than bland steak on a menu gluten free! All our meals were delicious. I had the prawn skewers and my husband had the steak while our GF daughter had the fish and chips. Absolutely 10:10

There is nothing to fault at No 4. Food, ambiance, service, all 5/5. We had the dumplings, green vege, and a salad. All freshly made and delicious.

Visiting Chch on a week off work and was recommended to visit No 4. There are so many great dishes on offer but I settled for the 350gm ribeye steak which was cooked perfectly ! Was lucky to be served by Bella who gave great service and suggested a fabulous pinot to compliment my meal. Will definitely return when back in Chch and will recommend to all my friends back home

Not only is the food and atmosphere outstanding but we were welcomed and by the lovely Bella who took care to attend to our needs. Bella was able to recommend some delicious dishes and gave us just the right amount of attention (it was "date-night") while still keeping an eye out when our glasses needed topping up. We will definitely be coming back again for date-night!

We would recommend No 4 is an outstanding Local Restaurant & Bar - we would suggest their specials along with the regular menus

We dined on New Years Day,late lunch as it was 3pm. We ordered fish n chips & a lemongrass chicken salad. Wow these were both delicious meals. Drinks were great too. Friendly service. Can't wait to done here again.

We celebrated a beautiful life of a 90 year mother and grandmother on the 12 august at no 4. The private courtyard was perfect. The staff and platters were beautiful and how amazing how the sun came out for the speeches. Frances would have loved

What a great place, top food and excellent service without being in your face. Nice option for soup either a cup which is a great serve or a bowl. Our wait person Nihaal was outstanding and a reflection of the establishment. Oysters on the menu

We booked the private outside area for us and our dogs. Lots of space for about 14 people and 12 greyhounds. Space is covered so protection from sun and rain. Interesting food menu. Serve breakfast and mains at lunchtime. Food was very good, reasonable prices
